The Food Pantrie hanging food dehydrator is the perfect way to dehydrate foods naturally without electricity so it costs a fraction of electric dehydrators. It takes no electricity to run, is environmentally friendly and less expensive.
Suitable for all types of fruits and vegetables, great for jerky, and it can also be used to sprout seeds and wheatgrass.
This is sold at a variety of places on the internet and select stores.

Coghlans Folding Stove
Burns Coghlan’s Camp Heat or any other type of canned fuel or solidified alcohol. Coated steel construction. This would be used to boil water or cook something in a small pan. I read on another site that a gentleman built a small fire inside the stove and that worked well for cooking also.
The good 'ole Dutch Oven
The Dutch Oven is a great choice for alternative cooking. This site has some great tips on how to season and use your Dutch Oven.
The Rocket Stove
Here is another alternative stove to cook without electricity or gas. It is simple to make, and uses very little fuel.
" Rocket stoves, because of their design, allow you to use 75% less fuel (wood) than a normal fire and will be invaluable in your food storage. I was able to boil 2 cups of water for 20 minutes using just a handful of small sticks and a match. Rocket stoves come in all sizes but the idea is the same. You can buy them or make your own. Making your own will cost under $20. A version of the one pictured here can be made for almost nothing. "
